From Wednesday 30 April (inauguration at 11 am) to Sunday 27 July 2025 in the Sotterraneo del Baluardo Regolo inside the Lucca Botanical Garden, the exhibition The “green” revolution of Princess Elisa in Lucca. Botanists, farmers and gardeners in Napoleonic Europe, curated by the association “Napoleone ed Elisa: da Parigi alla Toscana APS” in collaboration with the Lucca Botanical Garden and dedicated to the green innovations introduced by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, Napoleon’s sister, Princess of Lucca from 1805 to 1814, will be open to the public in the Sotterraneo del Baluardo Regolo inside the Lucca Botanical Garden.
The exhibition is supported by the Municipality of Lucca as part of the ViviLucca calendar and by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca.
