Theme of the meeting: painting in Lucca in the 14th century, with particular reference to the artists, the works and their context.
Guiding the public on this journey to rediscover the artistic treasures of Lucca will be 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨, art historian and researcher at Research Unit LYNX - IMT School. Institutional greetings and introduction by 𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢 director of the Lucca National Museums, professor 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢 for the IMT High Studies School of Lucca and councilor 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚 for the Municipality of Lucca.
The event will take place at the conference room of Villa Guinigi with free admission until all seats are taken.
