Forty years of Slow Food, of good, clean and fair food for everyone: a milestone to mark and celebrate
The event kicks off on Sunday 26 July with a dinner in Piazza San Francesco, and continues until 2 August with special menus at the seven local taverns featured in Slow Food’s Osterie d’Italia guide, all dedicated to one of the stars of Lucca’s cuisine: the Canestrino tomato, a Slow Food Presidium.
The evening begins with an aperitif provided by the seven Lucca taverns featured in the Slow Food Guide (Osteria da Gigi, Osteria di Lammari, Ristorante Mecenate, Locanda Buatino, Osteria dal Manzo, Osteria Meati, Locanda Posapiano), followed by dinner prepared by the Osti di San Francesco, in collaboration with the Fermento association and our Committee.
The cost of the dinner is 30 euros per person (27 for slow food members) Bookings essential at 329.7399748
