The solo1981_showcase arrives at Sky Stone & Songs for a special show dedicated to “V_Weird,” the new album available from February 20.

Behind the name Solo1981 is Stefano Giambastiani, a versatile and restless artist who has been able to traverse different worlds over the years: alt-rock and grunge with Acid Brains, Brit-pop and punk influences, and now this powerful new solo chapter.

V_Weird is Solo1981's fifth album and is unlike anything we have heard before.

Eight tracks (six in Italian and two in English) that abandon more classic forms to embrace a sound closer to post-punk and alternative rock, with a strong electronic presence.

It is an emotional, direct, unfiltered album.

A work born from the urgency to express feelings, emotions and thoughts, with the aim of leaving something behind and shaking up the listener.
