For two months, Associazione Fermento in the Orti in Via Santa Chiara, just a stone’s throw from Piazza San Francesco in Lucca, will become a space for people to come together.
The programme kicks off on 6 July with Austin TV, a Mexican post-rock band.
On 10 July, Cristina Donà will be performing; she has chosen the Orti for the preview show of her new tour.
On 13 July, ‘Lunedì Cinema’ kicks off: the great Italian cinema of yesteryear, to be enjoyed together.
And then there’s bingo, more music – with alternative rock from Bilbao and Ezezez – top-class cultural insights with ‘Qui si fa l’Italia’, science fiction with a brand-new festival, grassroots community spirit, and filling every centimetre, every space and every vibration of the venue.
A garden amongst the houses.
A communal space to enjoy.
