The first edition of the Garfagnana Auto Rally took place in 1964 , an event designed to promote our extraordinary region through a driving route enriched with fun skill tests.

It wasn't a speed race, but rather an opportunity to experience the landscape, the conviviality, and the spirit of the times.

The event ran continuously until 1976, leaving a vivid and fond memory throughout the community.

After 61 years since the first edition , the Pro Loco of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is pleased to announce the HISTORICAL REENACTMENT of this one-of-a-kind initiative.

Two days dedicated to memory, fun and passion for vintage engines:

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September 2025 , prepare yourself for a real dive into the 60s and 70s!

Only cars registered in the 1960s and 1970s will be eligible to participate (maximum 50 vehicles).

Period-style clothing is welcome to create a truly vintage atmosphere.
