Chestnut Festival in Colognora di Pescaglia, fraction of the Municipality of Pescaglia (LU).Among the streets of one of the most characteristic and fascinating villages of the Middle Serchio Valley, starting from 14:00 it will be possible to find many autumn delights between hot worlds, necci with ricotta, neccio pancakes and mulled wine, and the agricultural banquet with products at km0. In case of bad weather, the demonstration will be postponed to Sunday, October 25.
In Torrite, a hamlet of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (LU), the fourth Mondinata Paesana is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 18. Starting from 14:30, at the camp of Torrite, you can find and enjoy numerous local specialties. Among these, there will be mondine, fried pasta, chestnut and mulled wine.
Like every October, you can not miss the traditional Mondinata in the square in Mologno di Barga (LU). The Fratres blood donor group of Pariana organizes a day of taste and fun. The day starts at with the artisan market and local products. In San Leonardo in Treponzio, in the Municipality of Capannori (LU), Sunday, October 18 will take place the 22nd edition of the Chestnut Festival The start of the party is for 14:30 with worlds and mulled wine to follow the magic show. All children who bring their own papers on the theme of chestnut, will be offered a small tribute.
This Sunday it’s time to celebrate the chestnut in Careggine. The program of the festival includes the autumn fair, with stalls of typical and artisanal products, and stands rich in worlds, necci, chestnut, neccio pancakes, chestnut cakes and mulled wine. There will also be travelling exhibitions and the mycological exhibition, musical entertainment, lunch by reservation and, of course, the chestnut prize.
