To bring the celebrations and events scheduled for Freedom Week (7–12 April) to a fitting close, the 8th edition of the Disfida della Libertà, a competition in shooting with the large bench-mounted crossbow, will take place at the Baluardo S. Paolino on Sunday 12 April at 3.30 pm.

Including the Contrade, there will be a total of 11 teams of crossbowmen from all over Italy, who will first compete in a team tournament and then in an individual shooting competition.
