On Friday 26th September from 10.00 to 18.00, drawing workshop free and open to anyone at the Cloister of San Micheletto in Lucca, as part of the Fabriano Paper Drawing Festival 2025, the event "Poetic Geography - Fly down"
The day's program includes a "Propaedeutic Walk" in the gardens of the "Pier Carlo Santini" sculpture, led by Paolo Bolpagni, director of the Ragghianti Foundation, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. This will be followed by a fly-down art drawing workshop, which will allow participants to draw with a high-minded and direct gaze on artworks and the surrounding area, until 6:00 p.m.
To participate in the workshop, which is free and open to all, simply bring pencils, erasers, pencils and/or markers, scissors, and a glue stick for collage. Paper will be provided by CARTA FABRIANO.
In the cloister of San Micheletto, a selection of papier-mâché sculptures, "Paper work", by the artist Christopher Klein, who has been active for over thirty years between Berlin and Tuscany, is set up and can be visited until 28 September.
The other events of the Fabriano Paper Drawing Festival in the province of Lucca will be held on 4 and 5 October at the Murabito House Museum in Casoli di Camaiore (POETIC GEOGRAPHY - Postcards from Casoli) and on 8 and 9 October at the Giuseppe Lazzareschi Palazzo di Vetro Foundation in Porcari ( TALKING POSTCARDS - Aesop's Fables )
