Sunday, October 4, in the hamlets of Piegaio and Trebbio di Pescaglia (LU), the Pumpkin Festival returns, a whole day dedicated to the traditions, crafts and gastronomy of the territory where of course the pumpkin will be the protagonist.

During the day it will be possible to visit the exhibition market of pumpkins and local handicrafts, together with thematic exhibitions and other initiatives, including the traditional competition of the most beautiful pumpkin, music, thematic exhibitions and meetings with animals.

An important space will be dedicated to gastronomy, with a menu based on specialties with pumpkin. Among these we mention as first the lasagne with pumpkin sauce, pens with pumpkin and speck and risotto with pumpkin and bacon, while among the second we find fried pumpkin, fried pasta, cold cuts and cheeses. The stands and exhibitions will open at 10:30 a.m., while kitchen and restaurant service will come into operation from 12:00.

The Pumpkin Festival is organized by the association Who There is APS.
