The 64th Fornaci Primo Maggio, the great expo that celebrates the arrival of spring in the Serchio Valley takes place this weekend with the traditional exhibitions of flowers, tractors, and more only 36 minutes away near Barga.
It starts from the morning of Friday 1 May when at 10.30 where there will be the inauguration of the event preceded by the arrival of the gangs along Via della Repubblica and goes on until the evening of Sunday.
There will be the traditional exhibitions of the flower, the engine, and the other classic exhibitions of May 1 that will occupy the spaces that still run from Piazza IV Novembre, before the same becomes in the following weeks a construction site for the renovation of the square planned in the coming months, in Piazza Don Minzoni and the Parco Felice Menichini.
That of May Day in Fornaci will be as always a vast exhibition area where as always there will be news; large and small proposals that will make this edition great too. From the latest proposals in terms of automotive, to the colorful and always special exhibition flower market, to the latest ideas for alternative energy and heating systems, to bio-building.
The stands will open on May 1 at 9 a.m. to close at 7pm. They will then resume from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May.
