On Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Municipality of Lucca is promoting a series of initiatives dedicated to schools and citizens to reflect on the Shoah and on those who, even in the darkest moments of history, chose humanity.

Screening of the film Le Assaggiatrici, based on the novel by Rosella Pastorino and inspired by a true story.

“The faces of the Shoah”: a meeting with schools which, through the portraits of cartoonist Nazareno Giusti, tells the stories of the “disobedient”, men and women who had the courage to choose what was right.
