A free chamber music concert organized by the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, Lucca section, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lucca, the Culture Office, and the Botanical Garden, redefining the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, between physical perception and spiritual intuition.
The evening's protagonists are three extraordinary artists: pianist Luigi Mariani, cellist Lorenzo Montanaro, and soprano Francesca Mannino, blind and visually impaired musicians who embody the highest expression of how art can flourish beyond all apparent limits.
The program ranges from Schubert's Viennese classicism to Bach's sonic architecture, from the contemporaneity of Mariani's "Acquerelli" to the heights of Italian opera with arias by Puccini, Mozart, Bellini, and Rossini.
