Lucca Città di Carta, the festival dedicated to books, paper, art, and printing, which attracted 15,000 visitors last year, reaches its fifth edition in 2026 and returns on Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Real Collegio di Lucca (Piazza del Collegio 13, Lucca). Admission is free, and the festival features a rich program of events: meetings with writers, round tables, art workshops, hand-printing demonstrations, photography exhibitions, and a supporting program entirely dedicated to families and children. The charming porticoes on the ground floor will also host, as always, the publishing fair with over 60 stands from publishers, authors, writing collectives, cultural associations, and paper artisans.
