Dance Meeting the festival that for fifteen days transforms Lucca, into a multi-purpose stage, featuring shows, masterclasses, performances, and encounters. The city will become a vast open-air stage. Renowned dancers, young talents, and masters—a unique experience where dance becomes language, encounter, and the future. “Ballet Gala, the stars of today and tomorrow” PRIZE “Lucca Premia la Danza”
Tchaikovsky pas de deux, Giselle, Diana and Acteon, Esmeralda and more, the Ballet Gala inaugurates the many initiatives of the DANCE MEETING LUCCA 2026, now a fixed and indispensable appointment for fans.
The curtain opens at the Teatro del Giglio Giacomo Puccini on Friday 8 May 2026, at 21:00 with a unique program of its kind. On stage will be steps a few stretches from the nineteenth-century repertoire and not only, chosen to satisfy lovers of the tradition, very virtuous traits from cornerstones of the history of dance.

Mara Galeazzi will present “POST SCRIPT”
A choreography by Travis Clausen-Knight, an international premiere created specifically for the gala on music by J. S. Bach.
