Lucca Summer Festival - Morrissey

Morrissey will take to the stage in Piazza Napoleone for the first time Saturday, July 26th, for an unmissable concert. A key figure in British music, Morrissey is considered one of the greatest lyricists of his generation and one of the most influential voices in global pop. First with The Smiths, a band that indelibly marked the history of music with just four albums, and then with an extraordinary solo career that led him to release thirteen studio albums, Morrissey has created a repertoire that continues to inspire and enthral millions of fans worldwide.

Songs such as "This Charming Man," "How Soon Is Now?", "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out," "Suedehead," "Everyday Is Like Sunday," "Irish Blood, English Heart," and "First of the Gang to Die" have become generational anthems, making his style unmistakable and his voice one of the most recognizable ever.

Throughout his career, Morrissey has received numerous accolades, including an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music, and was recently awarded the 2024 Social Vanguard Award for his commitment to animal rights. MORE INFO
