A journey through the history of Altopascio. And a piece of our history that finally comes back to life with the inauguration of the MAST - Museum of Altopascio Hospital of Tau.

A new route that connects the old Hospital, the Medical Loggiato and above all the grain silos, in the belly of the Castilian Walls, which reopen to the public after decades.

Here we will tell you what Altopascio has been like for centuries: hospitality, pilgrimage, bread, work, land. We will do it through artifacts and testimonies, but also video projections, interactive installations and virtual reality.

Giving these spaces back to the community means cherishing our roots, but most of all letting them live in the present. For citizens, schools, families and for those who come to Altopascio to get to know it.
