A superb quartet, a programme spanning eras and musical styles, an evening not to be missed.

On Friday 31 July, in the Garden of Bagni di Lucca Town Hall, we look forward to welcoming you to the Adolfo Betti Memorial, featuring the Pegreffi Quartet, one of the most exciting young chamber music ensembles on the Italian scene.

The concert, organised by @virtuosoebelcantofestival in collaboration with Animando, takes the audience on a journey through Haydn’s classical style, the surprising modernity of Stravinsky’s Three Pieces for String Quartet – composed specifically for the Flonzaley Quartet, of which Adolfo Betti was a member – and the romantic intensity of Mendelssohn.

On stage are Emma Parmigiani and Inesa Baltatescu (violins), Emanuele Ruggero (viola) and Lorenza Baldo (cello): four young musicians who are winning over audiences and critics alike with their talent and energy.
