The Bride!, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, is set in 1930s Chicago.
The story follows a lonely Frankenstein's monster (Christian Bale) who, in search of companionship, turns to pioneering scientist Dr Euphronious (Annette Bening) and asks her to create a companion for him. The two bring a murdered young woman back to life, and thus The Bride (Jessie Buckley) is born.

The Bride goes beyond her creator's plans, sparking a fiery and out-of-control love affair, attracting the attention of the police and unleashing a radical and wild cultural movement. Amidst murder, possession and uncontrollable passions, the two lovers become protagonists in a whirlwind of chaos and desire that no one could have imagined.
The story also explores the limits of science and rebellion against oppressive social norms, showing how the power of love and freedom can challenge conventions. The film invites us to reflect on the consequences of our actions and what it really means to create and love...
