Dracula: The Lost Love, the film directed by Luc Besson, began in 1480. Prince Vlad of Wallachia (Caleb Landry Jones), a brave leader, leaves to fight the Ottoman hordes, leaving his beloved wife Elizabeth (Zoë Bleu) to be safe.
But a cruel fate separates them forever, Elizabeth is killed and when the Church refuses to grant her the resurrection, Vlad, blinded by pain, denies God and performs a blasphemous act, killing a priest on the altar. It is the beginning of his sentence to wander over the centuries as a vampire. Vlad becomes Dracula, the immortal creature of darkness. Years later, in 19th-century Paris, Dracula glimpses a young woman, Mina (Zoë Bleu), identical in all respects to Elizabeth. Obsessed with the idea that it is his reincarnation, he leaves his castle in Transylvania to reach it. The encounter with Mina triggers a new spiral of passion, illusion and violence.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Harker (Ewens Abid), a young lawyer, is sent to the heart of the Carpathians to deal with the sale of an abbey near Paris. Unaware of danger, he falls prey to Dracula. When the vampire discovers in Jonathan's medallion the portrait of Mina, he understands that fate offers him a second chance.
But his rebirth clashes with Van Helsing (Christoph Waltz), a warrior priest tasked by the Church to stop the dark advance of Dracula, and Maria (Matilda De Angelis), a mysterious woman held in an asylum, who reveals a disturbing bond with the dark lord.
