Organ concerts with the presence of internationally renowned organists. The first series in the Lenten and Easter liturgical period, the second from July to the beginning of October and internationally renowned choirs.

Stephan Leuthold: has been cathedral organist in Bremen since 2014 and teaches artistic and liturgical organ playing at the Bremen University of the Arts. He was appointed professor in 2017.

Stephan Leuthold performs as an organist and harpsichordist in Germany and abroad. He has a long-standing collaboration with the vocal soloist ensemble "Gli Scarlattisti." Since 2004, he has been a harpsichord and continuo instructor at the Bach Academies in Ukraine, organized by the New Bach Society Leipzig.

CD and radio productions have been made with various labels and broadcasters, most recently in 2020 on the historic Sauer organ from 1928 in the “Glocke” concert hall in Bremen and in 2021 on all five organs in Bremen Cathedral.

He studied church music, organ, harpsichord, continuo playing, and early music in Dresden, Hanover, Stuttgart, and Trossingen. His organ teachers were Dietrich Wagler, Prof. Ulrich Bremsteller, and Prof. Bernhard Haas; he studied harpsichord with Raphael Alpermann, Prof. Jon Laukvik, and Prof. Carsten Lorenz. He completed his organ soloist examination with distinction in 2000.

Courses with Wolfgang Zerer, Michael Radulescu, Almut Rößler, Ludger Lohmann, Jean Boyer, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Marie-Claire Alain, and Lars-Ulrik Mortensen, among others, supplemented his education. In 1997, he won first prize at the Gottfried Silbermann Organ Competition in Freiberg, Saxony.

His teaching career has included the Tübingen University of Church Music, the Ludwigsburg University of Education, and the Schlüchtern/Hesse Church Music Training Center. In 2004/05, he served as a visiting professor at the Stuttgart University of Music. From 2007 to 2013, he served as the city church and district cantor in Ludwigsburg.. MORE INFO
