Lucca's Notte Bianca (White Night), offers a rich and varied "menu," as always, aimed at a diverse audience of all ages—from children and teenagers to adults and older adults.
Open museums, guided tours, events for children and families, dancing in the squares, art, and special events, culminating at midnight in Piazzale Arrigoni, as well as open shops and restaurants and music in the venues.
The most anticipated moment, as always, will be the free midnight show, gathering in Piazzale Arrigoni (the lawns behind the Cathedral of San Martino). A spectacular flying acrobat show titled "Sonics in toren: where the impossible ceases to be a limit and becomes a spectacle" is scheduled. Throughout the streets of the historic centre, don't miss the touring show by Moruga Drum, a spectacular street band returning to the Notte Bianca after a two-year absence, ready as always to thrill the crowd with their irresistible sound. Also noteworthy, starting at 9:15 pm, is the theatrical performance at Palazzo Guinigi, curated by Giulia Perelli, titled "M. E. Maria Eletta Martini and the 80th Anniversary of Women's Vote," dedicated to a historic figure from Lucca and to the important anniversary of universal suffrage celebrated this year.
