Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina directed by Piero Romano will perform a concert at Auditorium San Romano with a programme featuring music by Brahms and Beethoven with Francesco Senese, Voilin and Patrizio Serinori, cello . The orchestra has performed over 1,850 concerts for RAI and other international networks, and is recognised as one of Europe's finest chamber orchestras.
The Florentine Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1981 by Giuseppe Lanzetta, its current director, to promote symphonic and chamber music repertoire. It immediately attracted national and international attention thanks to concerts performed in Italy for major musical institutions and on various tours abroad. It comprises approximately 40 members, some of whom perform in agile chamber ensembles. Since 1985, its concert activity in Italy and abroad has been partially funded by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.
