Pianostrada. Incontrarsi a Mandorla” is a calendar of music, art, theatre, in Mandorla, a Protected Housing Community in via Elisa 4 in Lucca. The protected housing community that welcomes adults with disabilities is promoted by the Foundation for Social Cohesion in collaboration with the Fahre Impresa Sociale Foundation and Anffas thanks to a project supported by the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation. On the ground floor there are spaces that can host events, also facilitating the meeting of the city with those who live in that house. Thursday, May 8 at 6 pm, the protagonist is L.O.L - Laboratorio Orchestrale Lucchese Fratel Arturo Paoli, in a “reduced” formation that we like to define as “chamber”.

The Laboratorio Orchestrale Lucchese is an orchestra of children and young people born in 2015 from an initiative of the Tempo di Musica association and the Caritas Diocesan Pastoral Office, which bases its model on the one promoted since 1975 in Venezuela by José Antonio Abreu. The students do not bear any expense related to the teaching services used and the musical instruments that are granted on free loan for use.

The main objective is the formation of an orchestra, thanks to which the children can learn coexistence and cooperation. MORE INFO
