Hailing from Dingley, Melbourne, Australia, Jet quickly conquered the world after forming in 2001, selling over 6.5 million albums globally and achieving nearly 10 Platinum certifications in Australia and Platinum in the United States and the United Kingdom for their 2003 debut album, Get Born. The album spawned several classic singles such as “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, “Rollover DJ” and “Look What You've Done”, earning the band six ARIA Awards in 2004. Both ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’ and ‘Cold Hard Bitch’ reached number one on the US Modern Rock Singles charts, propelling the band to the top of festival line-ups and charts around the world. Jet's second album, Shine On, was released in 2006 and featured tracks such as ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’, ‘Bring It On Back’ and ‘Rip It Up’. The album went platinum in Australia, fuelled by memorable headline gigs around the world and an unforgettable appearance at the Big Day Out in 2007.
In 2023, on the 20th anniversary of Get Born, Jet returned to the stage after five years, celebrating their iconic debut album with special concerts in which they performed it in its entirety, revisiting the songs that made fans in every corner of the world fall in love with them.
