Pistoia Blues Festival -Jethro Tull

  • Piazza Duomo Pistoia (map)

Ian Anderson's Jethro Tull will perform in Piazza Duomo for the 45th edition of the festival on 10 July. This will be their fourth appearance at the festival: the band that made British progressive rock history has already graced the stage in Piazza Duomo in 1999, 2003 and 2008.

The legendary prog band behind “Aqualung” and “Locomotive Breath” has announced that it will continue its “Curiosity Tour” in 2026 to present its new album “Curious Ruminant”. Comprising nine new tracks ranging in length from two and a half minutes to almost seventeen minutes, “Curious Ruminant” is an album consisting mainly of pieces played by the entire band. Musicians featured include former keyboardist Andrew Giddings and drummer James Duncan, as well as current band members David Goodier, John O'Hara, Scott Hammond and, making his recording debut with the group, guitarist Jack Clark.
