The Puccini Marching Bands are back with their third edition in 2026. Throughout the summer they will perform in the historic centre at some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. This Sunday the S. Cecilia Philharmonic Society of Levigliani

Sunday 19 April: the S. Cecilia Philharmonic Society of Levigliani;

Sunday 17 May: the Versilia D.E.B. Philharmonic of Capezzano Pianore;

Sunday 21 June: the ‘Don F. Martini’ Music Society of Villa Basilica;

Sunday 19 July: the G. Puccini Philharmonic Orchestra of Colle di Compito;

Sunday 23 August: the G. Verdi Philharmonic Orchestra of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.

Finally, on Sunday 20 September: the G. Pacini Philharmonic Orchestra – La Sorgente Folk Group of Quiesa.

All the events will follow the same route through the historic centre, starting from Piazzale Verdi at the tourist information centre, and will feature a series of performances at the city’s most iconic landmarks: Palazzo Pretorio, the Teatro del Giglio “G. Puccini”, San Martino Cathedral and the monument to Giacomo Puccini in Piazza Cittadella.
