A new project combining exchange, creativity, and sustainability RecuperARTI, in collaboration with TittaOli, Edunarche, and Matteo Raciti, presents "Scambia e Crea – Swap Party and Creative Reuse Workshops," a project developed in partnership with Cesvot, the Tuscan Volunteer Services Center.
The project consists of three free events open to the public, designed as opportunities for meeting, exchange, and artistic experimentation based on the reuse of materials. The project combines the swap party format with creative reuse workshops to promote sustainable, participatory, and accessible practices, and to reflect together on the value of objects, conscious consumption, and the possibility of transforming what already exists. The first event: prepare for Carnival in a sustainable way! When: Saturday, January 17, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The project includes three events in total, each dedicated to a different theme and targeted at different audiences, maintaining the common thread of creative reuse, sharing, and community. The second event will be dedicated to the exchange of clothing for adults (men and women) and will take place on Saturday, February 28th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The third and final event will involve children and families in a swap party of clothing, books, and children's toys, and will be held on Saturday, April 11th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Part of the RecuperARTI space will be dedicated to the exchange, while another will be dedicated to a sustainable toy-building workshop, to creatively experiment with the reuse of materials and promote an educational approach based on simplicity and collaboration.
