On the stage of the Church of San Francesco, the Wiener Concert-Verein, one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, will conclude the Anniversary events on Sunday 29 June (9:00 p.m.).

2025 marks the bicentenary of the birth of Johann Strauss (25 October 1825 – 3 June 1899) and the Orchestra will pay homage to the composer, very well known to the general public but rarely performed in Lucca, with a concert celebrating his music and the great tradition of Viennese waltzes. A unique opportunity to listen to the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, an unforgettable experience for all lovers of classical music.
