The Black Blues Brothers

The Black Blues Brothers: all the energy and athletic and artistic beauty of five formidable performers, combined with the overwhelming power of rhythm and blues, will captivate audiences at the Teatro del Giglio Giacomo Puccini on Wednesday, December 10th at 9:00 PM, thanks to the show scheduled by the Teatro del Giglio and offered to the city as a Christmas gift by BPER Banca and the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca.

Free tickets can be picked up from Saturday, December 6th (at 10:30 AM) at the theatre box office, subject to availability. Box office hours: 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM; closed on Monday, December 8th.

The box office will be exceptionally open on Tuesday, December 9th.

In an elegant Cotton Club-style venue, following the whims of a whimsical vintage radio broadcasting rhythm and blues, the bartender and the entire staff transform into tightrope walkers, flag throwers, acrobats, and fire dancers. Every object (chairs, tables, coat hangers, vases, and even mirrors) becomes a tool for breathtaking acrobatics and constant audience engagement. A party packed with spectacular moments set to the rousing soundtrack of the cult movie The Blues Brothers: human pyramids, fire limbo, rope and hoop jumping, hilarious gags, amusing stripteases, hilarious dance challenges, and much more.

Born from the imagination of Alexander Sunny (a producer of successful Cirque du Soleil shows and curator of TV specials), The Black Blues Brothers has established itself as a must-see in international live entertainment, receiving numerous sold-out performances, standing ovations, and four- and five-star reviews throughout a world tour of over 1,000 dates and 650,000 spectators. These included Pope Francis, who personally congratulated the acrobats, calling them "five artisans of beauty," Prince Albert and Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, and the British Royal Family, for whom the group performed during the Royal Variety Performance, a historic British TV show that welcomed the greatest names in dance, theatre, and circus, when King Charles III introduced the evening by praising the enormous talent of the artists involved.
