A magical night that inextricably links tradition, art and culture in Camaiore, the fleeting wonder of the Sawdust Carpets: 19 creations by master carpet weavers, ready to fill the streets of the historic centre with colour and emotion.

The carpets can be admired for just a few hours before they are destroyed the following morning by the procession of worshippers on the Feast of Corpus Christi. Hence the incredible value of the ephemeral: it is the fascinating spectacle of something that comes into being and fades away within a matter of hours, allowing it to be experienced, like a spell, on just one unique and unrepeatable night.
