LUCCA: THE THIRD EDITION OF "LA VILLA DEI LIBRI" ON OCTOBER 18 AND 19, 2025 TWO DAYS OF LITERARY MEETINGS, EXHIBITIONS, AND WORKSHOPS AT "VILLA LA PRINCIPESSA" PREVIEW EVENT OF THE 2026 LUCCA CITIES OF PAPER FESTIVAL Lucca, September 29, 2025

The "La Villa dei Libri" literary festival returns, now in its third edition, a preview of the 2026 Lucca Cities of Paper festival. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Lucca and the Tuscany Region, will be held on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the evocative setting of Villa la Principessa (Via Nuova per Pisa 1616/G, Lucca – large parking lot).

Admission is free again this year. An opportunity to discover independent publishers and authors, in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere filled with literary encounters and cultural activities, for readers of all ages.

Over the two days, Villa la Principessa will host book presentations, stands featuring publishers, authors, and paper craftsmen, children's workshops, exhibitions, and poetry readings, as well as guided tours of the historic residence. Furthermore, visitors can enjoy herbal teas and coffee with pastries, or enjoy lunch and dinner at the Villa at special prices, exclusively for the event.

Exhibitors will include NPS Edizioni, Casa Inverse, Tralerighe Libri, Isenzatregua Edizioni, Pensieri di Canapa, the "Il Gabbiano" association, Laura Tedeschi, Paint Your Life 22 – Creazioni di Carta, and writers Monica Peccolo, Alice Cervia, Irene Visentin, and Elena Bedini.

A room will also be dedicated to board games, thanks to the collaboration with the associations Ludus in Tabula (Saturday the 18th) and Ludicamente (Sunday the 19th), which will be present to entertain visitors with demonstration sessions.
