LUCCA AND SALZBURG UNITED ONCE AGAIN IN THE NAME OF GREAT MUSIC! ✨
The Auditorium of San Romano in Lucca will host an unmissable event: the concert "Mozart & Puccini: young talents, great masters", which celebrates the second chapter of a prestigious three-year collaboration (2025-2027) between the Giglio Giacomo Puccini Theatre and the Mozarteum University in Salzburg which, from This year, the Luigi Boccherini Conservatory of Music will also join.
🎻 Who will take the stage? The evening will star the ensemble Bella Musica “Young Ambassadors of European Mozart Ways”, made up of students from Pre-College Salzburg of Mozarteum University under the artistic direction of Mr. Stefan David Hummel. Enriching the performance will be joined by the precious contribution of the Choir Voci Bianche of the Giglio Teatro del Giglio, led by the masters Marco Ramacciotti and Serena Salotti. The concert will also feature tenor Chuanqi Xu and some of the Boccherini Conservatory’s best students — sopranos Greta Buonamici and Celeste Nardi, bassist Theodoros Zogopoulos — along with Mozarteum soloists Nikola Curovic on trumpet and Yeeun Kim on double bass.
🎼 The musical program is a real soundbridge between Mozart’s Seventy Hundred in Salisburg (with the Ouverture del Così fan tutte and the “Jupiter” Symphony) and Puccini’s Nine Hundred (with the famous melodies of Turandot and Tosca). Tributes to Pietro Baldassari and Giovanni Bottesini will not be missing.
