Wednesday Break My Heart

  • Sky Stone & Songs 7 Via Vittorio Veneto Lucca, Toscana, 55100 Italy (map)

Wednesday Break My Heart, at Sky Stone & Songs is back.

Meetings all start at 6pm and are free. The spirit is always the same: opening a space inside the store where anyone can be the protagonist and speak about their favourite record. Personal experiences are intertwined with musical culture, for pleasant encounters where in the spotlight is the music and emotions that it has aroused.

It continues on March 18 and stars another calibre from 90 of world music: Elton John with his album Madman Across the Water, the fourth studio album by the English artist, released in 1971 and which consecrated Elton John to an international artist. Speaking about it (and listening to it) at Sky Stone & Songs will be Guido Natalini.

A little more particular is the appointment of March 25: being the day on which the Dantedí is celebrated, that is the national day dedicated to Dante Alighieri established in 2020, also Wednesday Break My Heart wanted to celebrate the Supreme Poet, through the album Infernum of Claver Gold and Murubutu, which will be illustrated by Federica of Spilimbergo.

A week later, April, space instead to ‘heavy’ music: Emilio Putti and Stefano Giusti will tell of the importance it has had and still has the Black Album of Metallica: the fifth work of the American band, was released on August 12, 1991 and since then remains one of the cornerstones of the heavy metal-hard rock genre.

Meetings all start at 6pm and are free. The spirit is always the same: opening a space inside the store where anyone can be the protagonist and tell their favorite record. Personal experiences that are intertwined with musical culture, for pleasant encounters where in the spotlight there is the music and emotions that it has aroused and that is punctually transmitted to the participants.

To be the protagonists of the meeting is very simple: just contact the store and ‘occupy’ the free space of music, art and culture on the first Wednesday available: an initiative that is enjoying an excellent success of participation both for the public, and for those who want to share their passions.
