BOTANICAL PLANT HUNTERS Meeting with Silvia Fogliato

Silvia Fogliato, who has always been passionate about plants, has published books on the history of botany and edits the blog “I nomi delle piante” (The names of plants), a place where you can discover stories and adventures of men and plants immortalised by Linnaean nomenclature.

👉How to participate: Free admission until full capacity is reached.

👉Duration: approximately 1 hour

BOTANY FOR WOMEN: STORIES OF WOMEN AND PLANTS guided tours

Themed guided tours, departing at 11:00 and 15:00, led by expert guides who will reveal stories of women known, lived and imagined, between reality, science, myth and legend.

👉Where: meet at the ticket office of the Botanical Garden of Lucca, Rampa del Baluardo San Regolo. Punctuality is recommended. Access for people with disabilities is via Via del Giardino Botanico, 14, at the green door.

👉Participation: reservations are recommended by writing to ortobotanicolucca@comune.lucca.it or by calling the Botanical Garden ticket office (Fri, Sat, Sun from 11:00 to 15:30) on 0583 442482.
