On Friday 19 June, the Freedom Flotilla Italia sailing boat Ghassan Kanafani will dock at the port of Viareggio with its crew as part of the ‘100 Ports, 100 Cities’ project.

In Lucca, from 5.30 pm, the #FreedomFlotillaItalia camper van will accompany the city parade through the streets of the historic centre, stopping at Piazzale Verdi, Piazza San Michele and Piazza San Francesco, where a live-streamed talk with Francesca Albanese will take place at 8.30 pm.

This will be an opportunity to come together as part of a large network and take to the streets in support of Palestine and the release of Palestinian political prisoners, to oppose the culture of war and rearmament – which also affects our own territories – and to break all ties with the State of Israel.

⚠️ Saturday 20 June at 5.30 pm in Viareggio, setting off from outside Caffè Margherita on the Passeggiata, a large regional march in support of the people of Gaza and against all forms of repression.
