Following the sold-out event on Pasolini and the successful concert dedicated to Satie, on Saturday, November 15th at 6:00 pm, Queen Barock'Opera, the third event of the ConcertiAmoLucca 2025 Festival, dedicated to Queen, marks the 50th anniversary of the release of their song "Bohemian Rapsody."
A lively program, full of charm and energy, featuring some hits from the most beloved rock group of all time, along with some classics by Sting and Pink Floyd, revisited in a crossover style, with original arrangements specifically designed for the evening's leading ensemble: lead singer is the multifaceted lyric soprano Paola Massoni, who coordinated the arrangements with Tiziano Mangani, the versatile pianist, and concert pianist Elena Giannesi, professor of the oboe class at the L. Boccherini Conservatory of Lucca. The concert culminated with the participation of the Freedom Singers Gospel Choir directed by Enrico Giuntini.
