A theatrical show in which Cristicchi addresses the labile boundary between madness and holiness, the cornerstone of Francis’ personal and spiritual life and other important issues still today such as poverty, the search for perfect joy, universal spirituality, the necessary utopia of a new humanity that can live in harmony with creation. *IN ITALIAN
Francis of Assisi saw the sacredness and beauty in every face of person, in the animals he encountered, in the sun, in death, in the earth on which he walked together with the others and Cristicchi wonders if his message is still current in the confusion of modernity hungry for meaning, in the betrayed promises of progress.
Between reflections, questions and unpublished songs he investigates and tells the “Saint of All”, who was first of all a man in crisis, consumed by doubts whose example managed to attract a community, but not without arousing suspicion.
