The lecture will present the history of the Guami family, particularly its most famous member, Gioseffo (1542-1611). His personal history will be discussed and some characteristics of his music will be outlined, with a special focus on vocal production. (IN ITALIAN)

The event will be enriched by performances by several members of StereoTipi, who will perform a piece by Guami and one by Favali. Favali's transcription work on Guami will also be presented, particularly a piano transcription.
