The idea behind “Drink, Speak and Share” is to connect locals and foreigners living in Lucca through informal, laid-back meetings. Moving to a new country and facing the difficulties of a new language often prevents newcomers from meeting new people; on the other side it is sometimes difficult for locals, especially in a small provincial – although touristic – town like Lucca, to have the opportunity to practice foreign languages.
